Group shot on the peak...

Having planned the trip for the last 6 months, the day finally arrived, and boy was it a scorcher.. 8)

The Ladies...

We set off at 9.00am on the tourist route and within an hour realised this was going to be tough... The heat was a major factor and did take its toll. After the initial climb we did find the middle section easier, but still had quite a few breaks on the way up. I was amazed by the amount of people heading up and down, but was equally amazed at the ones in trainers with no backpacks and no supplies..!!!

The View...

There were 15 of us in total, with 4 of the group having never climbed a Munro before. I'm glad to say we all survived and completed the walk, although one of our group hurt his knee and took 5 hours to descend.

We ended up raising well over 3k for Cancer Research as well..
