hadn't really thought about it - looking at my map, the AE looks obvious but I'm keeping that for a good weather day and will need experienced company for it so may be some time away 8)

Thanks - looking at the timings of my photos, I'd have been on the two summits at around 0830 and 0930 - hope you had a great day as well - cheers :)

Been away for a couple of weeks so just seen this RH.Another whopper of a hike,i drank 4 litres on the south shiel ridge alone(half bottle of malt and numerous beers the night before might have had something to do with that right enough  )Well done and don't be afraid of the AE ridge, would be a fine way of getting to 200

That's a very long, glorious day, Rockhopper. Very familiar views - I was in Kintail and Glen Shiel last week, a beautiful part of Scotland. I'm glad you've only postponed the Forcan Ridge rather than cancelling it - that's one not to be missed.

Sensational - easily the best report I've seen of this ridge.
Enjoy your vouchers and good luck for the 200th!

Dream day in the hills there, Rockhopper.

I was hoping for all of that (inversions; brocken spectre; glorious weather; etc) over in Glen Affric last weekend...all I got was immersion and broken specs when I came off the bike at a ford in spate!

Shall be referring back to your report in the future when come to do these, great stuff.
