started early and got onto bristley ridge by 0830 in brilliant sunshine and took this pic half way up looking back at tryfan

went over the top of the glyders and did the compulsory stop on the cantilever stone then down and up to the top of y garn the followed the contouring path round to elidir fawr after watching the lake slowly go down to (power a few kettles?)generate electricity.then turned back and went over a style and down a steep grassy slope to come down on the little b road that leads back up idwal cottage. not a overly hard walk and navigation is quite easy and the views out to anglesea and over snowdon are amazing

Thats freaky. I am sat with my maps, looking over this exact route!
I did Tryfan before, but hurt my knee, so had to give up on the Glyders. May follow in your fottsteps when I get a chance.

Nice pictures as well. Like the view back towards Tryfan. I can see the path down the south peak that I totaly missed now.
