went over the top of the glyders and did the compulsory stop on the cantilever stone then down and up to the top of y garn the followed the contouring path round to elidir fawr after watching the lake slowly go down to (power a few kettles?)generate electricity.then turned back and went over a style and down a steep grassy slope to come down on the little b road that leads back up idwal cottage. not a overly hard walk and navigation is quite easy and the views out to anglesea and over snowdon are amazing- Attachments

Thats freaky. I am sat with my maps, looking over this exact route!
I did Tryfan before, but hurt my knee, so had to give up on the Glyders. May follow in your fottsteps when I get a chance.
Nice pictures as well. Like the view back towards Tryfan. I can see the path down the south peak that I totaly missed now.
