Doing The Five Sisters at last

While out walking the previous day i got a phone call from Mrs Craghopper asking where i was, Kintail i replied, ok we'll be up tomorrow. Aye ok then. They had just returned from Florida and were now hyjacking my holiday and here was me looking for a quiet wee break and now had the hyper craggies for company. They arrived at my caravan on the Tuesday morning put the beer in the cool box then said right where we going? Might as well do The Five Sisters i said seen as we've got two cars. This was my third time i'd planned to do this walk so we got my car to the finish then drove back to Morvich to where we would start the walk. There is a parking area for walkers just along from the Jacobite. Behind the house a path leads up to Beinn Bhuidhe, you are now on the ridge and we cross the first top before reaching the first Munro. We then continue along the ridge to Munro 2 and finally Munro 3 and then descend to the Glenshiel car park to my awaiting car and yes Mountain Thyme i have the keys where they should be, in my rucksack. There are a lot of reports on this ridge and it's just a case of following the path along the ridge, with a wee scramble here and there and enjoying the scenery as you go.

Yes, you made it! Third time lucky... Only, you missed a sister! The first / fifth one is a bit of a boring one compared to the others, though, so no big loss (and the poor girl is no munro...).

I've got a problem with the knee Chris which i'm possibly getting surgery on later this year. I get a jarring pain when descending but the knee strap helps ease it. :)

Great pics of a fabulous walk! My knee was playing up on the Sisters - poles and Ibuprofen help but I also tried Monty's shaking it method which was probably a placebo but it gave me something to distract me from the pain at least!
