this turned into a mere training walk as the vis was down to just 20 or 30 meters and the rain was quite hard at times so i went for it to see how fast i could do it with a 20 min stop for munches.Only problem was i got bitten to shreds by midges whilst waiting for the rest at the car. no photographic evidence exist for this trip and my phone only just suvived the rain, but all good fun just the same!!

Interesting - I did the same walk yesterday - so the day after you (I went round Craig Cerrig-gleisiad, Fan Fawr, Fan Frynych, Fan Gyhirych, Fan Llia and Fan Nedd on Tuesday.) Terrible weather on the Pen y Fan round yesterday though and it seemed to be covered in Duke of Edinburgh groups. If the weather had been better I'd have gone onto Waun Rydd, but it wasn't really an option for me that day.

I also helped some completely unprepared tourists that day that weren't sure where the Pen y Fan summit was - no sign of any navigation tools amongst them at all - they were about a quarter-mile away from it still. I pointed them in the right direction (not that it could really be seen in the visibility) and told them it's well-marked when they get to it. I advised them not to go onto Cribyn and Fan y Big without a map as they could easily have got lost like the guy on Monday did. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-mid-wales-19395168)

Willy is right - you made it in a great time. Well done.
