Hi again, Joined for my second weekend hill walking by Steve and Rob and this week we really pushed out fitness levels a bit far by doing a grade three. We set off around 11:30am up from Tillicoultry up towards King's Seat Hill. The initial ascent was a real struggle for us rounded gents carrying extra baggage :D but we made it up and after a course correction from another more experienced walker we made it up the initial slopes.

Then it was a nice steady uphill which was much more manageable up to the summit. Quick bite to eat and drink and then we moved on to head for Dollar. Unfortunately i had wet feet by this point thanks to some cheap boots and on the way down slipped and slide down a few feet. After this is was a nice walk down into the Glen above Dollar.

Being on a fitness kick we of course walked the old railway line back to Tillicoultry and then set off home.
Hope you enjoy the pics.
