There was a mountaineer called Polly
Who climbed Liathach for a jolly
Scaling the pinnacles she cried
"Was there a way round the side?
Can't believe I agreed to such folly"

Happy scrambling :)

Great report and pictures Polly.
Spent three days in Torridon at the end of August and next saw the summit for the rain driving up the valley.
Looks as impressive and challenging as I thought it would!

Absolutely chuffed that you took the time to do this for me- made my day :D :D

As for the path round the side, there is one photo that shows me eyeing it up as a saner option

Hi ML, glad you enjoyed the report. Yes it was a smashing day on all accounts. Loads of ideal places for you to pitch your tent and still stay close to your car :D The most difficult decision will be to decide which of the amazing hills in Torridon you want to tackle next!!! You take care Petal and sneak out of work ASAP! Cheers mate. Can't take any credit making it look easy, that is 100% Ron. I just followed him and did everything he said until I was a wee bit more confident, which to be honest wasn't until we tackled the last pinnacle
