Such well-captured detail makes me want to do it again - after over thirty years it's a distant memory that maybe needs refreshing.

Cheers Gavin. That path needs a notice, or some police tape to stop people going down it. Wasn't nice at all Thankfully we made our way back, otherwise I think we'd have been off the hill a bit quicker.....

Thanks JC. I remember standing on Meall Dearg on that walk and seeing someone standing on the pinnacles. I thought then they were nuts.........and now I've joined them

Great report Pete, its not really swearing just blowing off the overpressurised vapour from the adrenalin tank.

Great report Pete, Done it myself a couple of times. The first time was in cloud so didn't see the exposure and second time it was a brilliant blue sky day. Just fantastic even with the scary bits.
For interest if that was in Europe the difficult scrambling bits would have wire rope attached. Maybe not so much fun though.

Cheers trekker. Not sure I'd have enjoyed it so much with a wire rope. As much as it was a bit uncomfortable at times I think I prefer the freedom we have here in Scotland.

Not done, in fact I have actually tried to avoid hills with scrambling as I am kind of scared of heights, the chap you met with jelly legs sounds like me
Not sure why anyone would attempt a walk like that unaccompanied
