These photos are amazing. The combination of a stunning area, some magical light and of course a good photographer to capture it has really paid dividends.

Thought I'd bring this report back to the front for its superb photos of the Assynt landscape, since quite a lot of us are heading that way come Friday. This'll whet the appetite. Well done Alistair.

I did have Stac Pollaidh in mind for Sunday as I was looking for a shortish day but might be persuaded by this one instead. Not sure I'd have time to do both Culs as I'm not sure when I'd have to be back down the road. Depends on a number of factors outwith my control.

Looks like a wee short one Graeme for Sunday, a bit longer than SP that is but it's a Corbett, see how the weekend goes eh! See you Friday, Rod

Thanks for all the recent replies & likes folks.

I still get the WalkHighlands newsletter & saw the new Cul Beag route so headed over this way. I'm mostly over on Strava these days (mountain biking), but who knows when the old hill walking genes will kick in again

THE most breathtaking photos I've seen yet on WH. Thanks a million for posting these.
I've long had my eye on Stac P, Suilven, et al. It's just such a long way for me. But this has made up my mind.

Stunning photos - I'd be more than happy to forget my sleeping bag, get cross and end up with views like the ones you got - but I guess you need skill and talent to get the great photos too
