On my tod today ,for various reasons none of the regular gang were available(Charlie Kev and Chris all lying reekin' o booze someplace,Ian getting his motor fixed,Jim still kiddin' on he can play golf and Gavin hangin' of the side o a Corbett somewhere )so Johnny no mates headed for Glen Etive to tidy up some un finished business.Sgurr na h Ulaidh and Beinn Fhionnlaidh were the ones and i dunno why but never fancied these 2 up till now.Maybe it was the big drop between them or the boggy start but they had to be done sometime and today was it.Up through the woods ,out on to the open hillside(boggy)steeply up to Ulaidh ,back down ,follow the fence ,pick a steep line up to Fionnlaidh's 841 top(or there abouts),continue up to Fhionnlaidh, take loads o pics,re trace steps a bit, drop down to meall nan ghobar, follow boggy path to the rickety bridge, crawl across bridge ,follow forest track back to car.Simples .Did i miss the gang?..................Na .(only kiddin boys, see ye's on the next one)
