Weekend away with Kat, Mel and Bill. Originally due to stay at Corran bunkhouse but Mel had booked online and thought o phone to tell them when we would arrive and guess what, no record of booking (despite e-mail confirmation) and no space. We ended up at the Great Glen hostel which was very nice and on a par with Corran (No ensuite but the lounge are excellent)
We were on the verge of cancelling due to the rain (flooding, roads closed etc) but Bill firmly put us in our place on that one. Weather actually ok with vies from the top and not much rain. A result.

Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
