I was inspired to do this route also. Why didn't I think of doing these two munros from Glen Doll before?!!!

As it turns out we decided to do Tom Buidhe first, then Tolmount. I took my 10 year old nephew along with a few of my friends. It was a great hike indeed and would recommend it to anyone. We were also very lucky with the weather which helps!!

Thanks! It was an excellent day out on the hills and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The wee man did very well, especially when he developed blisters on his heels....he kept going and kept smiling and kept asking 101 questions about the whole experience! :D

Glad the report inspired you :D

Looks like you had a great day out. Glen Doll on a clear day really is something special, get the bog traversing right and these two are a great walk.
Nice one

Thanks! We were lucky with the bog and peat hags....it wasn't bad at all and very walkable which does indeed help make it a great walk :)
