Me and JB

What a day  One to remember for good and bad
Did this in reverse for a few reasons, To save the steep early ascent on Ben Starav,to get James's 100th on GBM and as the weather was poor in the morning but would clear later we wanted to save the best till last on Ben Starav, seemed a good idea at the time but the drop from starav was a killler. was hard to ignore Beinn nan Aighnen but decided we didnt want to walk off starav in the dark :(
Had a great time on GBM for james 100th with a wee bottle of glenfiddich each to toast this (courtesy of mrs Pollyh) cheers Polly, got to celebrate my 100th all over again
Got back to the van after about 10 hours 15min wasnt to bothered about how long it took as we had a long stop at the last 2 summits 8)
End of a good day  get to the wee van, cant get any doors open, freezing cold pitch black, oh sh*t :D
Eventually get in, sod it kingshouse hotel for steak, chips and pint (took a lot of arm twisting here)
Head off back down the road when the van started making a really loud rubbing noise which was disturbing my beauty sleep when just outside callander,BANG back wheel fell off  crap what a nightmare, I was having a good sleep there mate
as james never had any spare nuts we had to phone for some help
left house 6am got back 12am  nice wee short day
