Started from Achnasaul at Loch Arkaig where a path leads up the east side of Allt Dubh. The path was stream like at times and boggy in places but generally not too bad and when it ends you cross more boggy and peaty ground to get to the start of the climb up Meall na h-Eilde. We climbed up to the 681m point then an easy climb up to Meall na h-Eilde. From here we had the option of the ridge going over Meall Coire nan Saobhaidh but decided to cut across it instead as it wasn't a good day for views. We were soon on the summit of the second Corbett, Geal Charn, taking just over 1hr 30mins to get there which didn't include a lunch along the way. The clag was now low on Geal Charn so any views towards Knoydart were not out of the question so after a quick summit photo we headed south then south east to pick the initial path up the Glen back to the start point. It was a good day out and the odd view we got making it worth the effort. 6hrs 30 mins.
