Spending the night in a B&B on the shores of Loch Linnhe meant we could have a lie in and a decent breakfast before taking the short drive to Inchree. We parked at the forest car park and took the path to the waterfalls, this path then joining the track. We headed straight up the ridge from here on hard going soft ground for the first couple of Kilometers, once higher up the terrain became better. On the way up we passed a small base, a Mountain Rescue equipment area. From here we carried on up to the 575m point and onwards to the summit trig, enjoying the stunning views as we went. We sat around at the summit for a good twenty minutes chilling and enjoying the views, the view to Ben Nevis in particular being an awesome sight. The initial terrain made for hard going but well worth it on a nice day like today for the reward of the views. 4hrs for this one.

Just read this one and your Lochaber corbetts report - think I need a standing phrase to add when replying to your reports given the number of them  ....somewhat jealous though given the frequency of your trips  looks like you had a great time - cheers :)

Beautiful photos JC, those of Loch Linnhe are stunners, it is so still....I'll bet that is not a common occurrence on there
