Mullach Clach a'Bhlair and Sgor Gaoith from Auchlean, decided to walk in up the glen and come down off the hill.

Great walk along the river with only a small shower but did not get wet nor from wading at the stream crossings.

Followed the landrover track up Coire Chaoil whick takes you to within 300m of the summit of Clach a'Bhlair, just in time for the cloud to come down. Had one brief view of Monadh Mor and Braeriach before it was swallowed up for the day.

Steady old plod across Moine Mhor by the vehicle track, met a Range Rover coming off the hill, some very smug passengers enjoying their day out.

Wind increased as we climbed the slopes of Carn Ban Mor and Sgurr Gioath, shredding the cloud and giving a good view down to Loch Einich at the summit. Didn't hang around at the top, walked down to the stone shelter on Carn Ban Mor for lunch, Senga's vegitable soup hit the spot.

Came off the hill via the track above the Allt Fhearnagan, a veritable motorway, doubt the romans could have built such a viae.

Thanks to Gavin's faultless navigation

Timnigs
Car to Clach a'Bhlair 3 hrs
Ca'B to Sgor Gaoith 2 hrs 5 mins
SG to Car 1hr 35 mins with a 10 mins stop at Carn Ban Mor for lunch
Car to car 6 hrs 50 mins

We were a little apprehensive about the timing for the walk as we did not fancy coming off the hill by torch light.
However it was not a problem, with a little more daylight time and splitting the cars we could have gone over Sgoran Dubh Mor and off the hills via Geal -charn. May be next time, it is a big walk but with the paths we may take the women up that way for a long day out.
