First snowy walk of the season. I think this one had everything you would expect of a winter walk, really enjoyed it . Here is the route and a few pictures

I did this route at the end of September and what a cracker it is too. I added Rannerdale Knotts onto the end to up my wainy tally. It was a grand way to end an enjoyable day.

Intended to do the knotts as well but ran out of daylight unfortunately

It was quite deep in places and frozen solid, would of been a great day to practice with my new crampons but I left them at home
