A wee video of Buachaile Etive Beag

First trip of the year, and it was a dry pretty much windless day on Buachaile Etive Beag. A bit cloudy at the tops, but all in, a fun day, with some exhilarating glimpses of the surrounding hills. A rash New Years resolution was to reach 50 Munro's this year, so that's 22 and 23 taken care of!

I'll let the video do the talking.

Looks a great day but I can't see the video either. :(

That 9th photo of the rock with the eye in it is spooky. What sort of scale are we looking at?

It's looking across to Buachaille Etive Mor, I'd say its about 300m top to bottom of the photo.

Trying to work out how you can see a video on your phone. I think it's because it's the mobile version of the forum software. I've added the video on youtube as well but that doesn't appear either.

Does anyone know a way round this?

Thanks for that. I can't quite imagine it so I'll need to go and see for myself!
First video is working for me now - looks great. The clouds blowing over the rocks were fab - and yet you said there was little wind at other times. Looks an amazinng day.

It's time lapse, so I film the clouds for 3-4 mins, then speed it up to 10 seconds, so they move fast!

I did wonder - but it I thought it looked more natural than time lapse usually does. Brilliant

Loved the video and made me feel I'd been there! Well I have been there, but not in the snow - so it was nice to get the feel of that. :D

Thanks. The weather makes such a difference, although I have so many Munros still to do, there are loads already I'd like to revisit in different weather, mostly to see a summit view for once!

Looked not too bad up there. I was going do this on Saturday, but when I got there at 7.45am it just did not look like it was going to be a clear view on top. Went and done Sgorr a'Choise and Meall Mor at the bottom of Glen Coe instead and had a pretty good day.
