6 or 7 inches of fresh snow around Aberdeen this morning - winter is back! :)

Couldn't resist dropping past Brimmond Hill this morning - it was worth the struggle to get up the hills in the car, had to jump out and push (another car) at one time - grid lock on the main roads, but quieter out here! :D

Have been up Brimmond Hill before. Brilliant viewpoint up Deeside to Battock/Keen/Lochnagar etc..

A great place for a plane-crashing-into-ship-illusion photos as Dyce airfield - against a backdrop of the ships going into Aberdeen harbour - can create some interesting visual trickery for the camera as flights come in to land!

Anyone, without further ado... 30 minutes of sunshine were more than enough! (Shame the fog came down and spoilt the fun eventually!)

Bah! In Inverness there is no snow and I'm at work (lovely day though).

Even my colleagues down south are getting more snow than us!

Nice little trip out though :D

The week I'm away from Aberdeen in London, all the snow falls. Typical...

Lovely crisp photos.

You're not missing much, except for 2 hour tailbacks between Blackburn and Oyne because cars couldn't get up the Tyrebagger.

Some guy on the radio saying queues were the worst he's seen in 15 years. That must have been why! Naughty council...

Council gritted one lane only apparently. Was thinking of heading to Brimmond Hill tomorrow morning, but its -8C atm, so might just stay in bed instead.
