We are staying in Duror next week for a few days, this looks like an interesting wander from our cottage near the church. Weather permitting we will give it a go. Thank you for your post, very informative.

Just to advise you that I understand that there has been considerable felling since I did my report and access is now much easier. However, at the time it was fun to go up through the forestry route!
