No it's too heavy and doesn't fit in my wee shoulder bag that I take.

Nikon D3100 with 18-105 is a perfect sized DSLR for the hills. Also Panasonic V700 1080p50 camcorder with a crazy 42x Optical zoom!

Hate to be an anorak..but well I am  that is A'Chrois you can see from Inveruglas, its commonly confused as Ben Vane, which lies much further in and on the other side of Ben Vorlich :D

I did actually know it wasn't Ben Vane and in the video called it An Succoth !?) but yes A'Chrois was what I was thinking, will change that now - ta.

What a fantastic report - and the photo's are amazing!! I had a similar experience, having had to turn back off Ben Vorlich twice now... can't wait for the snow to clear to finally 'bag' it.

thanks again for some truly beautiful photo's of one of my favorite parts of the world :o

Stunning set of photos, The Cobbler looks amazing, Your title caught my attention cos we didn't reach the summit on our first attempt due to a very unavoidable late start, but your vid/photos will have me going back. I'm sure the conditions were difficult to walk in but what visibility!!

Photos..
