Did a wee wander around the Pentlands main ridge line today. Sunny and mild apart from a howling wind up West Kip hill. Only walked once before in the Pentlands so good to test out routes, paths and to see what's doable by MTB and a Outdoor Class in a few hours. Nice hot choc and marshmallows in the Flotterstone Inn at the end.

Quite busy on the hill with walkers and Hill runners. A few dozen families walking up to the Glencorse reservoir, scenic, and returning.

There was certainly a lot of families walking up. We guessed they had all had a wee Pub lunch at the Flotterstone Inn. Nice wee reservoir and Island.
