Petrol poor so no west coast Munros for me . Phoned Steve friday night Balquhidder here we come
Late start at the farm booted and suited and off for 0845hrs . A good track except for the two gates humans over the top dog on its belly got to the bridge in about 30 min then the slog up this area at the base of the hill would be boggy if it wasnt frozen.
Taking our time no need to catch the pigeon had to take a layer off not as cold as bbc and mwis said it would be . Why do Perthshire hills stretch on for so long over the 680m point then onto the cairn no need for map reading a braw clear day .Got to the cairn at about 1130hrs a chilly breeze picked up a quick photo shoot then off to find some shelter for a brew and a piece. Decided then to do Creag Mohr . Once we were down in the bealach we picked our route which took us below the crags after a few ups and downs got to the top at 1430 hrs another brew then took route one straight down . Got back down at 1545hrs . A nice easy day out in perfect weather .Hoped to have finished off a good day at the Rob Roy but its being refurbished .So Steve went north to Creiff and I went south.
