This is really a walk for a long summers day but I managed to squeeze it in - caught bus to Crawford, set off about 9 30am, by Camps reservoir - State Brae - Culter Cleuch Shank followed boundray fence over Comb Dod -Gathersnow Hill (there was none) - then a wee diversion to Coomb Hill down to Holm Nick - Culter Fell - King Bank Head - Cardon Hill then down & out to road & Biggar-arrived 6 30pm plenty time for bus at quarter to back to Lanark. -about 20miles & 1300m of ascent
There was haze all day stopping any views but it was gloriously hot for early march.
