The Pap

Parked just outside Glen Coe village and took the path through the woods to the road. Turned left onto a track after a few minutes on the road. This track lead to the Bealach, although it becomes a path after a short while. Turned left at the Bealach towards the rocky Pap, where there are various marker cairns and various routes to the summit. We took the direct route up which was the scrambling route, the route marked with the two marker cairns was, i think, the bypass route. We returned roughly the same way back to the Bealach and then the path back down. On our way down i said to Alan " we have two options now, option one is go for a pint in the Clachaig" to which Alan quickly replied " no need to mention option two". So that was that then, it was off to the Clachaig. Option two was, for anyone interested was one of the Sub 2k at Rannoch Moor but this will have to wait for another day. A windy, Claggy day which took us 3hrs 30mins.
