Thanks Bruno. My Corbett count is embarassingly low, but I would agree that the views from them have all been good so far. This is a nice easy, roadside hill so good for a half day jaunt

Thanks Susie. Plan C this weekend was to stay in doors I quite like having my head attached to my shoulders, but wasn't sure that would remain the case if the wind was as strong as forecast So no cake for me this weekend.

I was thinking as I posted the photos there were an awful lot of the Loch and the AE, but hey, it was some view This is a good little hill that you should look to get up some time.

It all depends on how fast you walk mountain thyme, and whether you stop and faff about as much as I did on the way up. I'm a slow plodder too, and also on the way down I just wandered about soaking up the views of the Aonach Eagach and the view down Loch Leven. Even at my slow pace I did it in 5.5 hours, but with a bit more focus this is easily do-able in 4 to 4.5 hours I would suggest.

Pity about plans A and B but looks like plan C worked out well (you're certainly organised ! ). Good decision to leave Sgurr a'Mhaoraich for a nice day given the views from it - cheers
