Meall Chuaich in the sunshine

we had started at the car park (Layby 94)

we had set out on our walk from the car park (Layby 94) and we had got to a gate/fence and had to lift our dog over it! :lol:

we had walked about 2.5 miles just to get to the mountain!!! it took about an hour! :D

we got to the mountain after about an hour of walking and that's where the climb had started! :)

we had started climbing up the mountain and the snow came in and it made it even steeper! :?

we got to the top finally and the views were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! we could see right over to Braeriach,Sgor Goaith & Ben Alder

on the way down the mountain felt alot steeper than it was coming up!

we had got back to the flat easy walk and it was killer on the feet haha and then finally got to the car park :clap:

Well done there mountainboy12, looks like you picked a great day for it, BLUE SKIES! :D and not too much snow. Bring on more of the same weather for this weekend :D

Nice report and informative too. I'm hoping to come up to this area next weekend and do the munro's on both sides of the A9. At what height was the snow lying and did you need any crampons to get up Meall Chuaichl today. R U doing any more walks in the area this weekend, happy walking

no carmpons no ice axes and the mountain had very little snow on it and the snow layed about 900m and which one are u Marcus G r u the one we started talking to for ages??????
