After a few stinkers on the Corbetts in this area(especially Ben Vane at Christmas :( )Ian and myself felt that these hills owed us something and today we were repaid in full :D Great weather so there's going to be loads of reports on later from other happy hikers so i'll keep it short.Ian had marked a straight up and down as the crow flies route on his map for Meall an t- Seallaidh but pigeon's don't fly the same as crows so it was a slight detour up Kirton Glen to Rob Roy's putting stone then up and back round towards the Corbett,a long way for a short cut as he says but a much better hike, great views and little wind ,magic

Nice report Pigeon. Love the snow summit and the great depth to the photos. That terrain is just waiting to be skied over :D
