3 Days, great weather, great country and great people

Stoppped at Craft & Things for coffee cake and to buy 2 books - Affleck Grey's " The Big Grey Man of Ben MacDui" and the Complete Writings of Mallory - goo reading ahead!

Kinlochleven for some Ice Climbing fun at the Ice Factor - great team, great fun, scary stuff at first but you soon learn the technique and exaust yourself getting higher and faster!

Then on Day 2 we headed to Culloden Battlefield to revisit my Clan Grave - not been here since the 80's - new centre is very impressive. From there it was lunch, Loch Ness and a drive before back for dinner, wine and a sleep ahead of Shiehallion :D

Onwards to .......

Schiehallion - stunning views, amazing weather and wee sip of its namesake beer courtesy of a boy who'd carried it up. Took the WH route, not many others on the hill and an easy walk so plenty of stopping for snaps and coffee to take it all in :D

Me explaining the importance and history of Schiehallion to a boy who works for the JMT that we met at the summit - it was he who had the bottle of Schiehallion

Wind picked up and temperature dropped on the descent so gloves and hoods were a must!

Headed home with big grins and another Munro bagged but wanting nothing more than to stay and do more!

Hope you enjoy folks.
