Sprakeloos Klaas! Think this must be one of the most epic journeys I've read about on here, and your photos are breathtaking as well. Thoroughly enjoyed that!

Great report and what an adventure!! Loved the Beard photo! It looks like a face, hair and beard indeed! The mouse footprints are just cute!! How heavy was your pack?

Your turn end of april. Enjoy it!

Mountainlove wrote: How heavy was your pack?

Just, only just over 10 kg. That's including crampons and ice-axe, but excluding clothes worn (baselayer+smock).
With fuel and food for three days it's about 13 kg. The camera+bag+batteries, at 800 gr is the heaviest not very vital item.

It will be annual, I'm afraid... But that makes it so intense, I guess...

We've read many reports on WalkHighlands that have left a deep impression, but this one went further than any others into the soul, somehow. There simply aren't any words possible to describe how wonderful and impressive and beautiful it is. No doubt we're not the only people who read it and thought "it's all been said now...". Anyway, thanks for posting - we'll come back to this again and again. And the photos are absolutely amazing - loved that one of the light on the sea from Sgritheall, and lots of others of course.

All the best,

Daniel and Clare (Torridon_snails)

This takes walking to another dimension and for most of us on this site it's just a distant dream

Inspiring stuff yet again and a wonderful report.

This kind of undertaking is something this city boy would love to do one day, well maybe on a smaller scale...gotta get myself a tent

Thanks for sharing your wonderful adventure  8)
