Huck Finn laid low, Frigate Mot and Pigeon galavanting. With dodgy map reading Loch Laggaan here I come again. Parked at the layby just before Roughburn booted and suited and off 8am . As per WH route found the small cairn up through the fire break and the bogs to the stile and deer fence Jake leapt over the fence I hate them stiles .
Once into the open kept to the left and skirted around the crags on Meall Clachaig .Then took a straight bearing to the south top Teallach was clear but the first target clag . Seen another walker half way up (early starter) entered the clag and the snow line at the 800m mark visibility poor . Got to the south top and recognised the dog last seen on Ben Ime on one of pigeons expeditions it was oskar and steve . After a quick con flab we headed off to the main summit . Solo walking ended but glad of the company.
Kept well to the left to avoid the cornices especially in the poor visibility got to the summit at about 10am . No views off down to the Beallach still keeping well to the left to avoid the drops a few bum slides . Then a brew and a bite to eat . Beinn Teallach was clear so after tiffen we picked a route over Tom Mor then the wind hit . No way was this the 20mph stated in the weather reports found it hard to stand at times . Got to the summit at1pm never hung about quick photo then headed down .
No need for map reading clear as a bell didnt have to cut down to the floor of the glen to cross the stream . Just headed towards the forest and crossed at the fence over. the fields to the wood picked up the track then back to the main road . I had a few buds in the boot a wee blether then Steve went home via Fort William and I went back to the A 9.
Another good day on the hills thanks to Steve and Oskar for a good day out catch up with you again Only another 3 to go in this area

Hi Ian , when i saw you stormin` up the hill behind me with a big black dug i thought it was the polis !
I knew you'd "catch" me so i had a coffee break on Beinn a'Chaorainn & waited for you & Jake to top out -
whilst enjoying the 360 view of nothing / clag / snowman at north pole etc etc -we've all not seen it eh!
I've done most of my hills so far solo ,but occasionally go with 1 or 2 mates - so it was nice to have company on this round. The wind building up from Tom Mor to Beinn Teallach was certainly refreshing to say the least !
Our 2 dugs certainly enjoyed themselves.
I hope your Sunday dinner wasn`t burnt when you got home  ......what with me getting the most out of these 2 munros in a full 8hrs 4 mins for me . A grand day , hope to see you in the summer - it's coming.
