Walking Mither Tap, Craigshannoch & Oxen Craig via Bennachie Centre

Caught the 9am bus from Aberdeen Union Square to Pitcaple, then walked the country roads from Pitcaple to Bennachie Centre. Finally arrived at our destination, Bennachie Centre just after 11am.
If travelling by car, this whole journey would only have taken 30 minutes.

So many forests being destroyed, makes me mad

We took the timeline trail through the forest (or what used to be a forest!) and began to ascend.

Headed back down via the Don View Trail and along the Gordon Way Trail, before arriving back at the Bennachie Centre for 5pm. We then had another hours walk ahead of us back to Pitcaple bus stop.

That does look a steep wee hill from the angle you approached. I am hoping to do this one in the summer as it looks a pretty hill. Love your home made map :D
