Weather for Wednesday looked dodgy at the start of the week so thought I'd get these 2 quickies ticked off. Heavy rain as I went through Glen Coe but cleared up later :D

Left the big parking area about 8:40 and crossed the Fersit bridges.

Past the barky dogs, big barn, through the gate & along the track to the start of the muddy climb up Stob Coire Sgriodain. This wasn't too bad - no knee deep peat hags just good old mud.
Image

Seemed to be a path in places, obvious craggy target to head for anyway. Crags:

Came up a snowy gully, view back down:

Chno Dearg looks a bit more straightforward.

More crags.

Then could see the top & ridge continuing round to Chno Dearg.
Image

No clag on the cairn :D
Image

Easains ridge on the other side of Loch Treig.
Image

Bit rocky on the way round to Chno Dearg.

Back to Stob Coire Sgriodain and Lochan Coire an Lochain.

Towards the top of Chno Dearg.

Stob Coire Sgriodain from the top, Easains in the background.
Image

Bein na Lap & other Corrour hills.
Image

Beinn Eibhinn.
Image

Then a quick descent, could see Fersit so just headed straight for it.
Image

Peat hags & deer on the way back.
Image

Head for the left of the lochan ahead then join the track back to Fersit.

Creag Meagaidh.

Nice easy trip with good views, might be a dull mudfest in the rain & clag though.

Nice report gman,
Good timing for me as off to Roybridge on Sunday for a few days to tackle all the surrounding munro's. Good to see what the ground conditions are like.

Lovely set of photos and good to see these two hills getting some positive press. They are still on my to-do list and I heard lots of stories about them being an awful bog feast - not that it puts me off
