Lovely report. I stop and gaze at Suilven whenever I pass. As someone has said, it has a presence, as many of the Assynt hills have.
Aiming to camp on the summit, as soon as :D

Can I ask about the picture that says "shortest route down" :lol: I was wondering if you need to climb up this part? It seems a bit daunting giving the drop and another route guide also showed this picture. Is it merely an illusion or is there some serious bravery involved?
