Only one other report for this walk which was by Lomondwalkers and was from Lochgoilhead, which is suprising as it's a good walk with lovely views and can easily be linked up with The Brack. I started from Ardgarten car park where i met two fellow walkers from the Lomond Hillwalking Club who were going to doing The Brack. After a brief chat about routes they decided to take the route i took to The Brack. This meant we would walk together as far as the col between Cnoc Coinnich and The Brack. We started by walking along the road, which you can drive a further 2km to another parking spot if you wish. From this parking area the road now becomes a track and is part of the Cowal Way and continues up Coilossan Glen. Soon a path is met and this leads to the col. Here we said our goodbyes and i continued over to Cnoc Coinnich. Spent a wee bit of time at the summit enjoying before dropping just off the summit to have some lunch and returning to the start.

Nice wee walk this ,you had a lovely day for it . When I did this I cheated and drove along to other car park - I was rewarded for my laziness by mist ,drizzle and zero views . I'll have to do it properly next time :)

Nice report there johnny, those two daves are members of the lomond mountaineering club, unfortunately we have an excess of daves in the club so you don't get a Brucey bonus

Sounds like a good route. I was hoping to link that one to The Brack in April, but the snow was far too much for an amateur and I was lucky to get off The Brack in one piece! It's a nice walk down the Cowal Way from the col though.
