We started off from the car park with a party of 10.
For most of the party this was their fist walk in the hills never mind their first munro.
It was a truly stunning autum morning. The views were spectacular with no cloud to speak of. No boggy sections and the route is clearly marked by the thousands of boots that have stomped there way to the top over the years.
I love this mountain. It aint too hard nor is it really easy. Just right for those of us who are built for comfort and not speed.
The last third of the climb is rocky, but easily navigated.

Really cracking views from the top.

Another munro bagged... cant wait for the weather to pick up. Im hooked

Nice one Del,this was my first munro, september bank holiday 2008,pity i never got the weather you had,we set of real early and when we got to the top the visibility was 50m and we were hammered by hailstones,it wasn't until we got down past the boulder field that it started to clear up and we could enjoy the views, probably do it again sometime.

Makes all the difference if you get decent weather. Good hill for novices.
