Myself Sarah and Storm decided to do the round of Munro's at Lochnagar
We left the car at 8.30 am and headed along Loch Muick
There was wall to wall deer Storm wanted to play with them but she was on lead so no chance
Looking up towards Lochnagar itself it was well and truly cover in Mist
We headed along the loch and up onto ridge to reach Broad Cairn
Sarah commented that it seemed harder than last weeks trip up Beinn Dorain
This was only Sarah's 2nd Munro so she was doing well
It was cold and windy up top and as we headed towards Cairn Bannoch we encountered more and more snow
Carn Bannoch was soon reached in no time we then headed for Carn an t-Sagairt Mor
By this time snow was knee deep in places and Sarah was starting to tire so we discussed possibility of cutting day short .
We took a stab at no 4 but after looking at map we decided to head down Allt an Dubh Loch as there was a path accoding to map back to Loch Muick (big mistake)
Do not go down this way it was wall to wall bog knee deep or more at times it took us hours to navigate through it all and many large streams to cross
We finally got back to car at 9.45 pm what a day
I am in awe of what Sarah accomplished yesterday in only her 2nd Munro if she can cope with yesterday the the rest of the Munros should hold no fear

Thank you so much Niel for the comments.

Yesterday was amazing, tiring and sometimes overwhelming but all in all fantastic.

The weather was great and views were amazing. You are a brilliant guide and leader for the munros.

After a few days rest I will no doubt being asking what we are doing next.
