Five summits in the Ochils

We had planned this circuit for a while and last week with the sun shining we headed off. It was much warmer and sunnier than the forecast had stated and both me and my sister ended up with burnt arms. We decided to leave the dog at home for this as it would have been a bit much for her especially in the heat. We didn't pass a single person and the gentle breeze made it pleasant to sit and enjoy the top of each summit.
Lots of campers
Summit one reached, Bank Hill with a view to Kings Seat
A very clear path from Bank HIll to Kings seat, very straightforward
Summit 2, Kings Seat
Looking on to our next target, Tarmangie, I was dreading this ascent but it wasn't as bad as it looked
Almost there
Looking back to King's Seat
A nice gentle looking path to Whitewisp
Views over to the Glendevon area
Summit view from Tarmangie
Looking back to Tarmangie
The walk over from Tarmangie to Whitewisp was the easiest section of the day. Summit of Whitewisp
Heading down to the final summit of the day, Saddle Hill
Views over to Fife from Saddle HIll
The last section of this walk down from Saddle Hill was not enjoyable at all. The ground wasn't great for walking and there was no path. At the end of a long walk it was very tiring.
