Couldn't have picked a better day with clear blue skies and virtually no wind as we parked up at Castle Farm around 8.30am. Setting off just after 8.45 we were quickly making good ground up the landrover track heading for Beinn a'Chochuill, passing Beinn Eunaich on our right who's slopes seemed duanting.

We crossed over the bridge and soon afterwards came to the fork in the road and took to the right, about a hundred metres on we came to the cairn which marked the start of a faint path up the slopes of Beinn a'Chochuill. We stopped here and grabbed a quick cup of tea and slapped on the sun cream, soon we were upwards and onwards.

we made good progress and approached the summit in around 2hrs 30mins from leaving the car. There was virtually no wind at the top and with clear skies on all fronts the views were breathtaking.

After a quick cup and a sandwich we headed for Beinn Eunaich, down to the high bealach and soon climbing towards the summit of Beinn Euanaich. a good clear path leads the way and carries on through the boulder bed near the top. Another stop and another cup (we like our tea) at the cairn while soaking in the sun and the views. Soon on our way down the ridge and then descending down the very steep path which takes you back onto the hydro track.
