Distance: 8 km

Woke up at 430am todays challenge was to get up and down Blaven back to the campsite to pack up and head for Elgol for the boat trip to the Isles. Staying in the Sligachan campsite I could see enough of Blaven to tell it wasn't shrouded in cloud like most of the Cuillins were the previous day in fact as I drove round the weather was turning out to be quite nice.

It was an amazing wee hike although I'd of liked to spend a bit more time up there .Its definitely one i'll come back and do again

Fab report and very timely as I'm in Skye next weekend for the half marathon and plan to do this afterwards.

Another good day, got down to Loch Avon and came out by the lairig an laoigh, forgot the suncream so bit of a redhead today
