Lets just imagine you have travelled over 6000 miles over one & a half days without any sleep to a country you have never been to before then when you arrive you are wisked on a whirlwind tour round some part of the country and then before you have time to gather you thoughts you are out for dinner with people you have never met before eating Indian Curry for the first time ever  then jet lag kicks in and you end up sleeping in a strange bed in a strange house all this before you are woken at a silly am hour and driven for 2 hours and then just when you think it cant get anymore mental your boyfriend says"thats what where we are going today"

.

Let my try and explain.Stretch was back in Scotland for his graduation in St Andrews and had brought his lovely girlfriend Jessica over for a wee holiday and now she was going to climb her first Munro, now its taken me near 5 years to get to this one and I was pretty excited so no wonder Jessica had a  :wtf:  moment.I wont say much more as there has been many a TR written about this one from people far more eloquent than me so here are some pictures of the day.

Looks like you had a really good day. That was my first Munro, too (in 1974!). Only 2 more to go now.

Fantastic,, fills me with pride when visitors get to see this country on such a fab day. BEM was a bit of a lifetime achievement for me, having passed underneath it sooooo often in my life,,to eventually get up there, was simply brilliant. similar conditions as you guys got,,if not a bit windier lol well done all,

Not a bad introduction to Scotland. And well done to you, GLW, on getting the Buachaille done.
