Weather forecast was not to be too good in the morning with rain forecast overnight and low cloud the rest of the day.

We started off late, leaving the caravans on Loch Ewe about 1015 and arriving in the car park about 1110 and leaving 1130 with no other cars parked up and nobody as far as we could see on the route ahead.

We decided to do the climb straight away up Leitri Fhearna to take in some views before we got up into the cloud.

Midges were bad climbing this wee hill and the muggy weather with no wind made it more uncomfortable, but near the top the wind came and we got a break from the heat and the midges were no longer a problem.

We walked along the side of Druim Reidh until the bealach between A' Chailleach and Toman Coinnich. It was near the bealach we walked into the cloud and five hours later we were out of the cloud.

We carried on up to the summit of A' Chailleach where we had our lunch.

We then set off to Sgurr Breac via Toman Coinnich, this was reached pretty quickly although we had to take a bearing at the top of Coinnich due to the cloud.

Didn't stay long on Sgurr Breac, just because of the cloud, so another bearing and we walked to the bealach with Sgurr nan Clach Geala where we joined the dover's path at the start of the stream Allt Breabaig.

A frog and Deer spotted and photographed before heading down the path which was good in places. We had to cross the stream which was not just a quick jump across so we ended up with wet feet, but at least we only had about 30 to 40 minutes walking left.

A great day out and along it was a late finish, it wasn't an early start.
