Well done on getting to the halfway line, Collaciotach. The Arrochar Alps always look good when I head past Loch Lomond.

We'll always share the same island with its world class mountain scenery, whatever political borders are drawn across it. I only hope we don't end up with a passport control at Gretna; it takes long enough to drive from England or Wales to the Highlands without additional delays. It's the same for Scottish walkers visiting the Lakes or Snowdonia.

No passport will be required either way...... but I have to say I am inclined to nail my colours to Collaciotach's mast! Anyway, when I first saw the title, I thought someone had gone Corbetting in D&G and reached halfway, then I realised it was only Collaciotach in the Central Belt! Nice one - two I still have on the To Do list and very much looking forward to them.
