I strayed off the path and went over the bog to make a shortcut because I started one carpark further west to make the walkback tomorrow shorter. But it was very dry.
Stob Dearrg bathed in sun.

But if you walk on a flat road you won't come to a Munro.

The last steps up to the bealach.

This is me.

View over Rannoch Moors. Schiehallion in the horizon.
Image
That Ardennes Liver Pate Sandwich.... Could I have a taste please?
Image
Glen Etive.
Image
I found a mountain that Sir Munro forgot to put on the list. It looks like a separate mountain to me.
Stob na Doire.
Image
On the list. Stob na Broige.
Image
I camped in Lairig Gartain. I slept very well. The summerwind was playing with the bog cotton.
Image
Sunset.
Image
Sunrise..., I was trusting the sun to wake me up. A nice morning to slumber.
Image
A mammal.
Image
View towards Stob Coire Raineach.
Image
From the top.
Image
Image
The sun is trying to break through the clag.
Image
A couple came up to Stob Dubh from the SW ridge when I was there.
Image
It looked like Stob Coire Sgreamhach was covered by clag. And that would be the next Munro on the route.
Image
Then I Discovered these ones.
Image
They are hiding for the minibus tourists.
Image
It was late and I decided to do this. 50 pence for italian food today. Good deal.
Image
I had to leave Stob Coire Sgreamhach behind for today. But the sun came back. Another time.
Image
I walked the old road back to the carpark to avoid traffic.
A nice overnight camping trip.

Hi Jon,
Great reading your report, glad you got down off the 'Big Buachille' and found the place to camp you were looking for.....you obviously enjoyed your sleep before the 'Wee Buachille' the next day. We were talking to you on the summit of Stob na Broige.....I was a bit surprised to meet a Norwegian from Greenock! Especially when I'd asked you if you'd travel far to get there?! You had fantastic weather and I think some of your hill shots of the flora and fauna are really good. Maybe catch up with you up a hill again sometime soon.....or maybe somewhere on a hill in Greenock, there's plenty o' them! Cheers!! :)

Well, the fauna shots are a wee bit zoomed, and a bit blurry. It was the best I could get on that distance with a pocket camera. It's better to be there to observe with own eyes. Certainly it would be nice do catch up on a hill.
