An Teallach (Bidein a'Ghlas Thuill & Sgurr Fiona)
Posted: Thu Jul 18, 2013 10:28 pmHad a few hours to spare so decided to do An Teallach seeing as we were staying at Badrallach Camp Site. Didn't do the full traverse as it was 50 MPH gusts & i have no rock climbing experience (
return can be done by going back the same route as you came up or by traversing the entire ridge.
- Looking back down to the start point, the Mountain Rescue Centre, from Meall Garbh's ridge
- The North Ridge of Glas Mheall Mor.
- Looking back down to Little Loch Broom, nr. Dundonnell
- From the Sron a Choire the route climbs slightly to reach a col. Climbed up the scree and boulders to the trig point on the summit of Bidein a'Ghlas Thuill, the summit of the 1st Munro
- An Teallach's pinnacles from the north.
- ridge path is the way up to the 2nd summit, Sgurr Fiona.
- Looking back to Bidein a'Ghlas Thuill (1st Munro) from Sgurr Fiona (2nd Munro)
