Attack of the clegs part 2!!

I parked the car in the small parking area at the start of the walk and the clegs were swarming all over the place.
I put on a long sleeved top, gloves and a midge head net to get my gear sorted out for the start of the walk.
Luckily the wind picked up a bit and the little feckers stayed away for a while.
I was starting to really feel the effects of the heat on this walk and drank another 4 1/2 liters of fluids easily.
The last pull up to the summit was tough but worth the views to be had.
I got back to the car and had intended to stay the night in my tent but I was gubbed, **** off with the clegs and had the 'home heid' on.
The cleg bite count when I got home was 43 and I'm itchy as hell!
