New machine arriving on Mull today so took chance of going over to do Beinn Talaidh after poor weather put paid to last attempt.
Would make my mind up if I would do Beinn Dearg as well once I reached top of Beinn Talaidh. Steep, steep, to top but fantastic views all round - Cuillins, Rum, Jura, Mid-Argyll, Cruachan, Ben Nevis and on and on.Only after 11 so decided to head for Beinn Dearg. Down on hellish scree, it has to be the hardest stuff I have ever walked on. Right down to glen then back up other side. Figured I wouldnt have enought time to head over towards Dun Da Ghaoithe and down to Craignure, so just headed down to the road where Colin had dropped me off. Hard but excellent day
