With the forecast being of thunderstorms and lightning strikes we packed for all eventualities, however we needn't have worried as the weather behaved and we were granted a near perfect day for walking.

Throughout our day we met quite a few fellow hikers who were in equally high spirits and as the wee puffs of clouds rolled on by so did we.

As relatively inexperienced hill walkers we were gifted on the day but were still paying for it by the following Wednesday, we certainly earned munros 2 and 3!

Just over 9 hours on the trail, 2 munros bagged, 1 top topped, 4 tired legs and 2 munroists in the making!

With the relatively gradual ascent up to Coire nan Lochan and clear trails throughout (apart from the decent) I would recommend this hike to those who are keen to take the step up from a single hill to all day hikes, good luck!

p.s. The pictures don't appear to be in the order I uploaded them in case there's any confusion!
