Four cheated peaks through a thunderstorm

Cheated a wee bit for these four, as we got the boat as far as Glen Cannich, saved us an 8km walk but cost us 20 quid each. When we docked we took the path towards Coire Mhaim before a short boggy section took us to the ridge upto An Socach. Weather was warm at the point and reasonable clear and we continued onto An Riabhachan, it was here the thunderstorm came, not a nice feeling but not much you can do about it apart from walk and hope none of the flashes of lightning come near you. We were not the only ones out as we met a fellow walker heading for An Riabhachan on our way to Sgurr na Lapaich. He commented that seeing us three gave him the confidence to carry on. The storm lasted till just after we left the second summit and from then on we got warm sunshine for the remainder of the walk. Coming of Creagan Toll an Lochain was a bit of a scramble at times although we did get off the main path at one point and were on a boulder field but soon found the path again. After reaching Carn nan Gobhar we returned via Mullach na Maoile and its east ridge to pick the path back to the start.

Nothing wrong with taking the boat but don't think I'd want to be on the hills with lightning around - glad it cleared up for you - cheers :)

Good choice the boat nowt wrong with that, bit like getting a lift back to a car, 20 quid well worth it considering he messes about with guns(HaHa)well done.
