Thanks for the encouragement, silverhill, musicfinder, wilkiemurray and clivegriff! Have got some other great pictures, and will try and post another report soon!

Rocket-Ron and Pollyh33: luckily I'm better at picking camp spots than dancing ;-)

Kevsbald, I'll certainly be hunting for a spot to match this one. Next summer maybe? Any suggestions?

High mountain camps are best. You need go pick a still winter night for a high camp next.

What tent is it ?


Winter, that would be awesome though I need to do a winter skills course first and get some more experience. What's your favorite spot?

The tent is a jack wolfskin Gossamer. Great for summer trekking (very light and airy) but coooold in winter.

As high as possible and views/outlooks west and east for sunsets and sunrises
